We had a brilliant ‘Welly Walk’ to Bismore Farm last Friday. The children were amazing and coped very well with quite a walk, especially the steep hill on the way back! They also climbed three styles (quite a challenge when you are 4/5/6), crossed a stream and dodged some seriously muddy puddles (or most of them did…).
Thank you very much Mrs. Lewis and Mrs Hawkes for coming with us and Farmer Russell from the farm for letting us come and see the lambs. We got to stroke them and watch them have a feed as well as ask any questions.
We drew some sketches of the lambs and managed to spot quite a few signs of spring along the way.
