Harvest Festival Thanks

Thank you to everyone who supported our Harvest Festival by either donating food or coming to watch the children perform. Squirrel class had painted lovely apple pictures and thought of words to describe them. They also sang and signed a song about apples, then the Year 2 children read a diary of an apple which was thought provoking and fun. Hedgehog class performed a Harvest Rap with rhythm, style and attitude. We especially loved the outfits and Mr Kings sunglasses! Owl class taught us about Harvest Festivals around the world and they performed a poem to accompany their facts. All children spoke clearly and sang beautifully. The afternoon was also an opportunity for us all to sing and sign our favourite Harvest songs such as ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’. Thank you for all the food donations, they were delivered to Stroud Food Bank who were extremely grateful for our offerings. It wont be long until the Nativity now!
