Ironbridge

On the last day of term, Owl class presented their class assembly to an audience of parents and Grandparents, it was great to see so many of you there. For those of you who were unable to make it, here are some photos of our trip to Ironbridge that we shared during the assembly.

Our Take on Lowry

Owl class have been studying the artist LS Lowry. We took one of his most famous paintings and worked in pairs to recreate it using chalk pastels. We worked as a whole class team to ensure that the pictures matched up with each other. We are very proud of our final result!

This meeting will inform you of National changes and how we are preparing the children for their tests. Parents of Y5 children are also invited to attend to come along for future information. We look forward to your attendance.

Rugby Photo’s

Please take a look at the Galleries section of the website where you will find some photographs of Owl Class working with the Gloucester Rugby Coaches. They have had a fantastic few weeks and have developed their rugby skills. Thank you to Gloucester Rugby Club.

Sports Relief

To raise funds for Sports Relief, we would like the children to dress in sporty clothes on Friday (18th March) and bring in £1 to donate to Sport Relief. Suggestions include tracksuits, sports kits etc.
We hope you are able to support this worthy cause.

Book Fair – last chance to buy!

Today is the last day of our school book fair. We need to reach the magic target of raising £300 before the school benefits from receiving free books. We are some way away from this target and so I urge you to come and buy tonight. There is a wide range of books which would be great as Christmas and Birthday presents. As the quote goes; everyone is a reader…some just haven’t found their favourite book yet!
